To reach Rosendale, NY

By Bus from NYC
Rosendale is easily accessible by bus from NYC. Travel time is around two hours. Take the Adirondack Trailways/ Pine Hill Trailways bus from Port Authority Terminal, New York City to Rosendale, NY. Click here for NYC bus schedule. Rosendale has no local taxis. You can walk from the hardware store to Main St.--it's about a mile to where most of our events take place. We'll try to pick you up if we can--call ahead.

By Car
From New York City
The drive takes 2 to 2.5 hrs.

Take the upper level of the George Washington Bridge to the Palisades Parkway North. Stay on the Parkway for 19 miles, exit 9W - Interstate 87/287.

Stay on the New York Thruway (Interstate 87) for 55 miles, then exit at New Paltz, Exit 18. After paying toll, at the end of the exit ramp, turn left at traffic lights, then turn right onto Putt Corners Road. Approximately 1 mile down Putt Corners Road, turn left onto Shivertown Road. At 1st stop sign, turn right onto Route 32 North.

Travel approximately 6 miles on Route 32 North. You will cross two bridges. Pass through Tillson. Just after crossing the second bridge at the traffic light turn left off Route 32 North, and a quick left in front of the Stewart's onto Route 213 -- Main Street.

From the North
Take the N.Y. Thruway Route 87 South to Exit 19 Kingston. Take Route 28 (West-approx. 1/8 mile) to Route 209 towards Ellenville. Take Route 209 to approximately 10 miles and turn left at the second light in Stone Ridge onto Route 213 East. Go through High Falls and into Rosendale.

From Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge
Cross Rhinecliff Bridge and go South on Route 209. When you pass Route 28 Kingston Exit continue approximately 10 miles and turn left at the second light onto Route 213 East. Go through High Falls and into Rosendale.

From Poughkeepsie
Cross the MID HUDSON BRIDGE West to a right onto 9W North (2.5 miles) to left onto Route 299 West into New Paltz. At the third traffic light turn right onto Putt Corners Road. Approximately 1 mile down Putt Corners Road, turn left onto Shivertown Road. At 1st stop sign, turn right onto Route 32 North.
